About your inverter

At the heart of your solar-powered system and doing all the hard work is your inverter. Your home runs off AC power, but your solar panels produce DC power, so your inverter converts generated solar power into usable domestic power.

We offer a series of inverter solutions to match your chosen installation type. Our experts will guide you through the process and ensure that you are offered the tailored solution that best meets your budget and energy requirements.

single roof

Providing there are no obvious shading issues, with a single roof installation type, a traditional string inverter all be installed. If shading issues are detected, you will be offered the option to add on an optimiser.

double roof

If you need to split your solar panels across two roofs at a different angles, then we recommend a dual-tracker inverter. This allows each roof to be operated independently. This works well if you have both south and west-facing roofs.

multi roof

For three roofs or more, or where shading issues have been detected, to ensure optimal operation and maximum output efficiency, we would recommend installing either optimisers or micro-inverters.
